Waiter/Waitress

Duties: Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying meals and beverages; take action to correct problems; collect payments; write patrons' food and drink orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff; prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes; take orders from patrons for F&B; check patrons' identification to ensure they meet min age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages; serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required; present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations upon request; clean tables, counters and/or lounge space after patrons have finished dining; prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wine; and other related duties. Requirements: Minimum 1 month experience in position. Must be able to read and write English correctly. Pay Rate: $2.35 - $3.50 hourly rate + service charge; or $15.00 - $17.00 hourly rate + service charge + tips; or $21.00 – $24.00 hourly rate. Employer guarantees hourly rate of pay will not fall below prevailing wage at $18.71/hour. O/T available paid at $28.07/hour, unless exempt from O/T under Section 7(i) of the FLSA. Pay rate varies by F&B Outlet. Shifts: Multiple Shifts (5 rotating days including weekends and holidays) 5:00am-1:00pm; 10am-5:00pm; 2pm-9:00pm; 6pm-1:00am. May work in multiple worksites throughout PBC, FL.
