Concessions Worker

Take customer food and beverage orders, answer questions, and address routine concerns. Operate a cash register or point-of-sale system to complete sales transactions. Stock concession items. Clean and sanitize counters, kitchen areas, and food service spaces. Prepare daily food and beverage items using proper food-safety and sanitation practices. Keep displayed products clean and organized, and provide courteous customer service. Belmont Capital, LLC is the foodservice operations management provider for Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. The work will take place in the Ski Resort Lodge cafeteria and other counter-service locations and concessions stands on the premises of Sugar Mountain Resort in Banner Elk, North Carolina. The workers will stock bags of chips, sandwiches, and condiments. They will refill ice coolers. They will also stock prepared foods such as baked good, French-fries, hamburgers, sausages/hotdogs, and other already prepared foods to their stations manually to be available for guest purchase. These tasks are performed by hand. Tools are not necessary. The workers will compile sandwiches and wraps; Wrap premade items in plastic wrap such as muffins, cookies, and pastries; Set cups at the drink station; and fill a cooler with water. Proper food-safety and sanitation includes: Washing hands; Wearing gloves while prepping food; and ensuring food has proper expiration labels. The workers will not drive any vehicles for work related purposes.

Must be able to lift/carry at least 25 pounds. Must be able to obtain a state driver's license.
