Construction Laborer

Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Assist with mixing, pouring, and placing concrete (no finishing responsibilities) and perform construction related tasks such as cleanup work site, assist other craft workers, dig trenches, direct traffic. Assist with positioning or dismantling forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. Help other construction laborers by performing duties of lesser skill. Workers may assist other craft workers, by preparing worksites; gathering, loading, unloading, and transporting tools, materials, and equipment; cleaning work areas; and performing manual labor tasks associated with construction projects. Workers may use common hand tools and basic power tools including shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, brooms, drills, compactors, levels, and measuring tools. Materials handled may include lumber, concrete forms, gravel, sand, cement, concrete, rebar, pipes, and other common construction materials.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive pushing/pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping, exposure to extreme temperatures. 3 months concrete experience required.
