Cook

Cooks will be responsible for cooking, baking, grilling, sauteing, and broiling seafood, meat, poultry and vegetables, keeping the kitchen area clean and sanitized, receiving and storing all ingredients daily, preparing all raw ingredients, preparing sauces, breaking down and scaling whole fish. Cooks will also be responsible for preparation of raw bar ice display, caviar presentation, and plating hot and cold food.

Days and Shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings are required as needed. Employer is offering opportunity for up to 15 hours of overtime per week, however this is not guaranteed. Employer reserves the right to increase wage, rate, or bonus to any worker based on skill, tenure, performance, or experience. Workers must be at least 18 years of age. The Petitioner will consider for employment any applicant who possesses twelve (12) months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening at employer's expense. Applicant will also be required to complete paid on the job training. Please note that while materials are available online for training, reviewing these training materials is not mandatory outside of work hours as on-the-job training is provided. Employer will provide each employee with one (1) uniform chef coat and one (1) hat at no cost to the employee. Employees are required to report to work wearing clean, serviceable black shoes, black pants, black socks, and a plain white T-shirt. These items are considered standard, everyday clothing and must be provided by the employee and expectation to be 100% compliant with the Company Grooming and Uniform Policy. Workers are required to speak conversational English.
