Construction Laborers

***RFI response*** Place concrete” refers solely to manual labor associated with moving and positioning concrete under supervision. Construction Laborers: ● Use a sledgehammer to pound stakes or pins for concrete forms; ● Hold and guide the pump hose while concrete is discharged; ● Move and spread concrete using concrete rakes, shovels, and come-along tools; ● Consolidate concrete using hand-held or walk-behind vibrators; ● Use vibratory hand screeds or screed boards to help bring concrete to rough grade; ● Clean tools and stage finishing materials for skilled finishers. Workers do not perform any skilled concrete finishing, such as floating, troweling, edging, or applying surface treatments. These tasks are performed exclusively by separately qualified concrete finishers, not by Construction Laborers. ***Original*** Perform tasks involving manual labor at concrete construction site. Prepare the site for placing of concrete by loading and unloading materials, digging and leveling the earth, placing strengthening materials in concrete, and lifting, carrying and setting concrete forms. Place concrete. Clean up waste materials. Clean up construction sites.

Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs 75 yds. Must be able to handle temperature extremes. 3 months concrete construction experience required. Some weekend work.
