Duties
to assist with the operation of steam heated vacuum pans, batch cookers and crystallization to manufacture raw sugar during the harvest season by setting temperature and pressure gauges on cooking machines to produce sugar, and performing related sugar boiling work as needed or assigned.
Requirements
Must be willing to work 7 days a week, varying 8 and 10-12 hour shifts (11am-7pm; 7pm-3am; 3am-11am) or (11am-11pm; 11pm-11am); 56+ hours per week, overtime paid after 40 hours a week during and after harvesting season. 40 hours a week will be offered after harvesting season until the end of the contract. Overtime as needed after harvesting season. Workers will have 30 minutes paid lunch break during the workday.
